While the government has banned or restricted the use of pesticides given above, several of these pesticides routinely show up as residues in agriculture or in products where their use has been restricted. There can only be two reasons for the above: regulatory incapabilities/failures in terms of implementing such bans or restrictions or the half life period of a chemical being so long that it shows up as residues even after the banning happens!
