लखनऊ. भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने आज देश के विभिन्न स्थानो पर सरकार द्वारा सरसों के जी.एम. सीड के लिए दी गयी अनुमति के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किये. लखनऊ में विधान सभा से हजरतगंज स्थित गाँधी प्रतिमा तक पैदल मार्च कर गाँधी प्रतिमा पर प्रदर्शन किया. भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव को संबोधित ज्ञापन में भारत सरकार को पत्र लिखकर सरसों के जी.एम. सीड को अनुमति न देने का अनुरोध किया गया है.

नई दिल्ली। जीएम मस्टर्ड का विरोध करते हुए आज गांधी जयंती पर 18 राज्यों के हजारों लोग ‘सरसों सत्याग्रह’ अभियान में शामिल हुए और इस पर पर जोर दिया कि हाइब्रिड किस्म ‘अवांछित, गैर जरूरी और असुरक्षित’ है।

नयी दिल्ली, (भाषा): देश के कई किसान संगठनों ने जीएम सरसों की खेती को मंजूरी देने के प्रस्ताव का विरोध करते हुए इसके खिलाफ दो अक्तूबर, गांधी जयंती से आंदोलन शुरू करने की चेतावनी दी है। इन संगठनों ने सरकार से मांग की है कि जीएम सरसों पर जारी विशेषज्ञ समिति की रिपोर्ट पर सार्वजनिक टिप्पणी के लिए अधिक समय दिया जाये और कोई निर्णय जल्दबाजी में नहीं लिया जाए।
